Blueboy Music Studio’s greatest asset is writer/producer Phil Redmond because he is and will always be a musician.  With over 25 years of performing in Austin’s live music scene, Phil’s experience in multiple music genres gives his style an edge and flexibility.

Phil opened his first studio in 2002 when he recognized a need for local artists to have access to quality studio recording.That vision has grown into a multi-faceted Blueboy Music Studio which still operates on the promise to provide quality studio services. Blueboy Music prides itself on offering clients an intimate recording environment while maintaining a world-class level of technical excellence.

As a keyboardist and vocalist, Phil Redmond burst onto the Austin Live Music scene in the late 80's. He brought his knowledge of music and talent and dazzled audiences. He has performed with memorable bands such as The Bizness, Funky London, Les and the Funk Mob and Memphis Train. In addition to his long list of recording credits as a musician and vocalist, Phil has graced the stage with such notables as The Malford Milligan Band, RCA recording artist Tommy Shane Steiner, fellow second generation talent and pal Spencer Gibb, Lake Hills Church of Austin, country singer Pamela Danzy and popular Latin funk group Vallejo. These collaborations have provided Phil with an ability to move effortlessly between musical genres that is second to none.
